Nerd/Zep alert - Gretta Van Fleet on SNL tonight

Exposure and kids who really can't decern a good note from a bad one...everyone is uded to seeing one singer on stage with some random
drum machine or synth. Real instruments might just have surprised the viewers...

And if we look back, Led Zep and Sabbath were exactly... kids who couldn't decern a good note from a bad one. Oh wait, people said that of Zep during their entire career...

I have recently started learning and performing a lot of Zeppelin's work - most of it for the very first time. I've found a new respect for Page's creativity as i have explored Zeppelin's music. The time signatures alone can be daunting to nail correctly. While Page may not be a super technical player, he certainly was an interesting performer.

I'm really enjoying learning and performing these songs...

I for one am happy to see today's youth playing rock and roll. Mrs Wav and I were at the local farmers market and there were three young young girls, teen maybe preteens playing rock and roll covers and at least one original. All this digital click beat music tracks with computer controlled pitch correction may be music, but I prefer actual people playing (no offense to my bot friends) and knowing that rock still lives is good in my book.

Totally agree...

I've mentioned these guys before, but they are worth listening to. "Sahg" from Bergen. One of Norway's best bands in my opinion (and really cool guys as well!). They have toured all over the world, playing in the US together with metal icons Celtic Frost and played at Wacken a few years back. And, of course, they played for beer at our brewery last year.

I talked to brother Billy yesterday. Billy's band was on tour with Led Zeppelin back in the day.
33 years ago Billy told me you get your journeyman card in every style of music good advice.
