NCD!!

If you're liking the H-75 and the Anni, I'd suggest trying the G12C in with the Anni.
That was one of the first things I tried. I've been at this all day. I've tried every combination I can think of with what I have on hand and I just don't think I'm into mixing speakers. See my post above.

I've tried mixing before with limited results as well.
I have pairs of everything now, and I think I've found speaker/cab setups that work with each of my amps.
IMO, the H30Anni's are good speakers, and if it's working in your new cab then get another.
I've seen some good deals on them used.

I just found one and ordered it. It's used so hopefully it's well broken in.

Mojotone Imperial Slant 212. Kind of a cross between the Marshall 1966 and 2061 cabs at 24"x26"x14". It sounds huge. I loaded it with Creambacks to start with and so far it does not disappoint!

Very soon I'm going to have a new head shell made for my Lil' Devil, black with gold piping, to match. I'm over the white.

It already matches the 5150.

Holy crap , that is the cab I envision building.

Ok so, this cab sounds huge, very deep, I'm not used to that. I've read where people say that Creambacks sound muffled and dark, like a blanket over them. I've not experienced that with them, but after playing it for a while, I think I get what they mean. I removed them completely (for now) and tried a couple of speaker combinations. First was WGS's recommendation of a ET65 paired with a Veteran 30. That was not good, very fizzy, bright and thin like I experienced before in my MX cab. So I took them out and put in a G12C Greenback with a 70th Anniversary H-30. That sounds pretty good, I think the Greenback might stay, but I'm not so sure about the H-30. I'll try pairing a Creamback with the Greenback like I should have done to begin with because I liked that combo in my MX cab, but not now, I'm done playing around for tonight.
Greenback is where it’s at! lol congrats on that cab I’m jelly.

Once again I spoke too soon and didn't give it enough time before I commented on how it sounds. This cab sounds so HUGE, way bigger than anything I've ever played before and it thru me at first. I didn't know how to handle all the extra bottom end and there's a lot of it! I'm so used to my 112 cab now that I didn't anticipate how different this cab would sound. It's taken some time to get used to it.

The Creambacks do sound great in here after all. It only took me a couple of hours to realize the H-30 was actually really bright and before long started to wear on my ears. I tried a few more speakers like that, with just one hooked up and a disconnected speaker in the bottom, just to see because all my speakers sound so different in this cab compared to the smaller 112. When I got back around to the Creamback it just sounded "right" so I put the other one back in and I've been rocking the Creambacks.

I had forgotten that it was like that with my Mojotone 112 cab also, it took me a while to appreciate the difference between it and the cabs it replaced, but once I did and realized how much better it actually sounded, I fell in love with it. I'm having the same kind of experience with this cab right now.

I'm a big fan of the Anniversary speakers. Also, maybe try the Blue and the Hendrix Green Back. That might be a nice combo, depending on the sound you're looking for.

I'm pretty sure I tried that, but was concerned about the wattage. No worries with my main 18 watt amp, but I'm also using this cab with a 50 watter. I also tried the Blue with the Anni, which I understand to be a popular combo.

I went thru a few more pairings today. Right now I have a Creamback 65 (top) paired with a G12C Greanback (bottom) and it's the best combo I've tried yet. I haven't tried these 2 in this configuration before, I always had the Greenback on top. but I think it sounds better this way.
