I found it. And it's here. And it's a Carr Mercury V. And it's the baddest plexi in the land. And I got it for a steal - perhaps because it had a couple of tears in the tolex which I fixed with a drop of superglue in 2 minutes and a dodgy preamp valve that did that bacon frying in the pan thing really loud which I fixed with a spare tube in about 10 minutes.
There's a lot of stuff going on behind a fairly simple looking control panel but when you get it nailed down it's killer.
