My next project...LP Tribute - take two

Ok, you guys are way off, sorry, it's my fault. I should have posted this to begin with, but I was a little buzzed and didn't know how to say it then, I was just excited about getting the motivation to do something. I've had time to think about it more and now I think this might explain what I want to do a little better.

Watching this vid is where I actually got the inspiration to do something with this guitar.

Now, I'm not going to do anything like that, it's is hideous for several reasons. But think "rat rod" for a guitar, that's where my head is for this.

Now I'm wondering how hard it would be to pull off a surface rust look on wood. :hmmm:

Kinda along the lines of some of the old Sparrow Rad Rod guitars? But with your own imagination….?

If I do it like I'm talking about now it might be cool to do just a bridge pickup with a volume and tone and leave the neck pickup slot empty, Malcomb Young style, and maybe plug any unused holes with bullet casings like I did before on this guitar.

I thought I had kept the original PCB wiring harness this guitar came with, but I can't find it so I'm looking to get another one. One thing about this guitar is it's cursed, I've rewired it at least 5 times that I can remember and something always fails. I just want to put the PCB harness back. Hoping someone has one they don't need because I can't find one that isn't already sold. :fingersx:
