Sorry Gold Bro, I've been told that I'm full of :poo: so I must consistently keep wiping. I've actually taken to dragging my butt across the carpet in lieu of using toilet paper.

I am 30 miles away from the refineries in Long Beach/San Pedro. Gas here for premium is $3.50 per gallon. The farther away I drive from the refinery, the more the price goes down. What's up with that?

Here in Maryland they’re temporarily closing down the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Stations and are going to use them for drive-through coronavirus testing stations.

It makes a lot of sense. The buildings are already purpose-built for drive-through operations. Also, each county already has at least one of them. So, there’s nothing new to build. The main hold-up is the testing kits.

Gas is $1.99 around me today. A few weeks ago it had been at a steady $2.50 or so. I recently started shopping and delivering for Shipt as a subcontractor. Starting to see lots of "drop at the door" orders.

Average gasoline prices in California are currently at $3.30 per gallon for regular gas. One year ago the average was at $3.34! That's how F'd up this state is. About six months ago, our Governor had the balls to do some grandstanding and announce to the public that he is going to investigate California's high fuel prices. I think he forgot that he initiated and pass yet another substantial fuel tax and also increased restrictions on fuel delivery and production. What a joke!

And in this beautiful county of San Luis Obispo that I live in (... it really is!), its consistently one of the highest average fuel prices in the nation. As of today the average fuel price is $3.53 per gallon. A year ago it was $3.52. I guess the coronavirus doesn't affect us here... :rolf:

But seriously...
I'm retired and volunteer four mornings a week at a sanctuary for neglected, abused, and/or abandoned donkeys. Lot of work cleaning and picking up poop for nine assorted donkeys.

The owners are a married couple well into their 70s. Last year the husband came down with pneumonia and still has some residual effects from it. And per their request, they have asked me and all other volunteers to stay away for awhile. It breaks my heart that they have to face the burden of maintaining the donkeys by them lonesome selves. Catch 22: If I help them I may end up killing them! They are even isolating themselves from their grandkids who they adore tremendously.
Does the donkey shelter have a guy that comes in and plays guitar for the critters?
I know of a cat that plays for Hazel the donkey and other critters at some sanctuary.
