No, you’re right. His timing is off and I struggle to keep time whilst he is singing. Trying to block it out in my head.
Lyrics needs tweaking to make it more flowing. This our 5th jam and he is still finding his feet trying different things.

He seems cool enough to be open for suggestions.





He loves punk stuff, so you’re not wrong. Ill make a suggestions to him to be more thrashy. Like I’ve said above he is trying different approach to see what I like and what not.

I have recorded it for this purpose to hear it back and check what needs changing.

I want him to sing like guy from Death Angel.
Ive asked him 5X at least with timing with some section in the song and he keeps messing it up. I hope he can get it down. Its hard to find really good singers who want to play my kind of :poo:.

I messed up my solos… on that day…. We were all tired and it showed. I mean im not making excuses but we will get better. I promise.

Maybe you wanna hold on to him but not share too much original material until you're set on who is actually the vocalist. Don't commit too much material to him if you're not sure. Jest sayin'.

I think your singer has potential and I think it’s great that he is open to suggestions. That’s big.
I like his voice and the type of growl he’s got.
Just need to work on timing and getting his voice in key. He does have a heavy punk sound to him. But I think with more practice and more exposure to thrash music he will fit in.
Maybe he should listen to some thrash bands that are similar to your style and learn to sing along.

Other than that. It looks like you are heading in the right direction. I really want to hear you guys with some low end boom boom.

I showed him bands/songs i listen to so hope it wont be long till he get it right. Boom boom is coming, one of them we tried he was ok but he has housing issue and no job so his priorities are little different to mine. also, i have someone else interested and hopefully we can audition him next Tue....

we only jamming 4 songs at the moment. He cant still my song, ill kill him and he knows it.. lol

my guitarist is sick player tho, he showed me new riff for new song and t was so tasty i wanted to eat it. it was like if Testament, Slayer and Metallica had a child it would be him.

so im looking forward to work with him.. he can play leads and he is open for my suggestions. my band is really lay back which is new to me... as before it was all about egos.....

two more days till London gig... im so f***** exited .....

its going to be memorable for sure.... my mate and my brother is going to be there I want to make them proud... Ill film some footage and then post it here :)

I cant wait to bring damnation to every city we go... Also, planning to start an other band where i will be playing non thrashy staff...

Finally Im doing what i set out to do long long time ago........
