My bands random stuff.

If I may, the instruments sound very tight and punchy. In the first song, first verse just sounds like singer is not singing in correct tune to me. I realize it is screamy thrash stuff but he seems not to be in tune with what you guys are doing to me. Seems like just random growling. Just my opinion based on what I hear.
Or maybe I just don't understand thrash...
Rest is going very well.
 
Sounds good, Rams. Your singer is just burning to cover "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce. I can tell this.

Note: On a serious note, your singer comes across very punk and not thrash in any way. Just fyi - letting you know in case you feel you need to "adjust", or not. Jest sayin'.

No, you’re right. His timing is off and I struggle to keep time whilst he is singing. Trying to block it out in my head.
Lyrics needs tweaking to make it more flowing. This our 5th jam and he is still finding his feet trying different things.

He seems cool enough to be open for suggestions.

He loves punk stuff, so you’re not wrong. Ill make a suggestions to him to be more thrashy. Like I’ve said above he is trying different approach to see what I like and what not.

I have recorded it for this purpose to hear it back and check what needs changing.

I want him to sing like guy from Death Angel.
Ive asked him 5X at least with timing with some section in the song and he keeps messing it up. I hope he can get it down. Its hard to find really good singers who want to play my kind of :poo:.

I messed up my solos… on that day…. We were all tired and it showed. I mean im not making excuses but we will get better. I promise.

Overall really good. Will be nice to hear with bass! Just that dudes singing wasnt in tune at times.

I know bro, hopefully he can get it down soon. Bassist is in works so we should have it soon.

Its really hard to find good musicians who want to play thrash or heavy :poo:. Also, Im tip toeing about everything ( about how song should go and not to push them hard) as I want to play live and get this thing going.

Totally makes sense man. Coming along brilliantly I think! Just take your time till its right before playing out! It will be worth it!!
 
@Ramo. I think once you get the bass in there to tie it all together it will sound awesome.

I think your singer has potential and I think it’s great that he is open to suggestions. That’s big.
I like his voice and the type of growl he’s got.
Just need to work on timing and getting his voice in key. He does have a heavy punk sound to him. But I think with more practice and more exposure to thrash music he will fit in.
Maybe he should listen to some thrash bands that are similar to your style and learn to sing along.

Other than that. It looks like you are heading in the right direction. I really want to hear you guys with some low end boom boom.
