Yeah Ramo,

Holy Crap, When this kid was playing a few AC DC licks on the SG, I was almost thinking that the mom was in for tons of hard to listen to plinking, It really is true, Grandparents are for spoiling their grandkids and then giving the parents back what they dished out as kids.

Then once he got the V tuned up, HE TURNS INTO MINI RAMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drive was fine we didnt have any problems.

It was cold though -5

Sound guy was a tool like last time….

Nobody could here anything….. after multiple attempts to explain we gave up. Got on with set and got off the stage. My bassist was raging he was so angry at sound guy.

He didnt event go on stage he was playing from backeound.

I forgot to take my guitar strap…… likely my band mate had a extra and I borrowed from him.

Also, after sound check I forgot to put my whammy on my guitar i only realised it once we started a set. There was no way me going to green room and getting it. I started to think other ways to do whammy stuff without whammy before solos came on.

My other guitarist wireless was dropping out he had to go old school with cable.

Thats one of the reasons im hesitant to get a wireless .

Also forgot to take merch with me…
Oh well….

It was not my day yesterday…,

But as always i did best i could.

It's good to know you guys had a safe trip.

Next time, see how involved the sound guy will let you guys get involved, by tweaking a channel or overall mix.

I know some have rules that only the sound guy is allowed to operate anything to do with the mixer and house speakers.
It would be nice if you guys could hear through the PFL channels and make suggestions to sound guy.

Pre - sound check, when tuning up, put that wangdangle tremolo arm on!! LoL !!

Another show soon??

Ramo, sounds like one of my old remodel jobs gone wrong. Like taking the shop vac for cleanup, but forgetting the hose.

Or the day i was plumbing a tub/shower and when I stood up, my phone fell down in the demo'd wall and found it's way to the first floor where thankfully I was able to cut a hole to retrieve it.

Or when I was waiting on a concrete truck to show on a job in the city. When I had to go inside to use the toilet, someone stole my concrete finishing trowels/ floats.

Ramo, we are due for a little more snow between today and tomorrow and for the past week or so, have been ranging between -10C at night and maybe 1C in the day for about a week now and expecting to hit maybe 2-3 C if we get a heat wave next week.

I saw the gig was Cambridge. Pretty cold there I see.

Sound guy is a tool... we did two shows with this guy and both sucked..... His one of those guys '' ive been doing this number of years i know what im talking about''..

he was having none of it.. it possible last show there.....

next show we have is in March , battle of the bands.

tomorrow we are tracking drums for new song.

I was one of those bad days that everybody gets. i usually dont forget anything as my memory is good and triple check everything. On that day during worthless ''soundcheck'' i was thinking i dont need term now ill put it later... then i left guitar on stage and when i cleared my stuff it went with it and totally slipped from my mind. hahah

yea , it was one of those days..... lol

my drummer left his drum stool there ... so im not only one who forgot things on that day :)

Drums tracked, sounds badass.

Bassist didnt turn up again….

So we are going to track it tomorrow, ( if he turns up) i doubt he will ….. if he dose not turn up then we are going to record other guitarists.

We shall see.
