Mr. Page:

I would say that you owe me 4 minutes and 58 seconds
but I was not able to force myself through the entire thing
so let's settle on 3:07 and call it even.

The only reason they didn't lose it as they got older
is they didn't have it when they were younger.

...not in a live setting anyway.
(Studio was OK for first 2 albums.)

I became real hung up on technical proficiency from an early age and i long dismissed Page for a lack of it live. But then I began to see something I had missed.

He was having a great time and putting on a grand show. Somewhere along the way...that became an admirable quality to me.

Dragonforce is incredibly technically proficient, but their music is without a soul...

HE has a reputation for slop---- that video cant be right Don--- must be "dubbed" or somehow altered maybe he is just mimicking to a backing track???--- everyone knows Pagie is a talentless hack --his time as a studio musician was spent getting coffee for David Bowie and weed for Ziggy Stardust.....
Robert Plant used auto-tune technology--- that hadn't been invented yet ('97) John Bonham was an inflatable Doll that had 2 Henson Muppet techs operating it and a studio drummer (who was murdered for threatening to blow the lid on the whole thing) laying down the tracks--- and JOhn Paul Jones was actually the only decent --- functional--- performer in the band.......playing multiple instruments in the studio while Pagie played with his Microphone ---can you hear me now------no?------NOW?----

Hee hee! Excellent. In the early sixties every chart hit that had featured guitar was the product of the "talentless" Mr Page. Didn't matter who the named artist was. As for Mr. Plant, In about '66 I saw him at my local college singing with the Band of Joy. Halfway through the set, his PA died. He sang the remainder unamplified and he could still be heard over the band.

Speakin of drummers Chilli i was watching that Cream Farewell concert again on TV the other nite and at the end Ginger Baker has a long drum solo.Dude was insanely good. Listen to his drumming in the song Sunshine of your Love.Fantastic
