You already have a couple of 4x12 cabs that you like. I'd suggest you not make a final decision until you try the Mesa Triple Crown, Rectifier and Mark 5 heads. They are all very different-sounding and many different features but the thing they most have in common is they are Metal amps and make World-class tones.
What about rectoverb? Is that vintage voiced?

No. The Rectoverb is a Mini-Rectifier with the addition of spring reverb, so it's a modern hard rock/metal voicing, despite the misleading inclusion of a vintage mode. That mode means vintage in the sense of being similar to the first Rectifiers, not meant to be voiced like an amp from another era. The preamp is the same circuit that's in the full-size Rectos, and really does sound the same to my ears, you just don't get the wind in your trousers the same way you do with the big-bottle amps.
TBH, I run my Mini-Rec in the "vintage" mode on the red channel much more than the "modern" mode. The modern removes all negative feedback from the power section and for me tends to make things slightly more brittle in the midrage. If you need a lot of volume though, that's the mode to use as it's quite a big volume jump and has a heck of a lot more headroom.

Really different beast. The Nomads were the evolution of the DC (Dual Caliber) series and had that original voicing. Very syrupy and mid-forward. The tone works really well for classic rock and early metal but it's tough to dial a scoop into the sound for more modern stuff.

Some of the later Nomads had the onboard EQ, and those are going to be easier to scoop out a bit. The bigger power ones will definitely give you the chug you are after.
