Sometimes it's important to remember that the theories themselves ARE the conspiracy. The magician will wave and gesticulate with his right hand, while his left commits deception and lies. Your attention is drawn to the wild and outrageous maneuvers of the right hand, the left hand quietly and unassumedly takes whatever is found in YOUR pocket while you never noticed it in your pants in the first place.

While each and every one of these points made here is easily and widely debunked (note that debunked is an entirely different word and meaning from disproven) it is not much of a surprise why these ideas persist. It would be counterintuitive to the cause of truth to disparage the people who have gone head over heels into some of these ideas. They can't be blamed.
Sometimes the ideas aren't entirely, or at all, false. Sometimes they just run cover for the uncomfortable realities of our existence. Sometimes they're more true than false. Sometimes they're just outright lies.

Anyone can claim anything they want.

Some of the theories have official documentation and some kind of historical paper trail. Some don't at all.

This one only has Bart Sibrel(!), and shaky documentation at best, as it pertains to the moon, versus tons and tons of documentation supporting it. Still, it persists....Why? Who knows.

I entertain it because the world always needs people always asking questions and always doubtful of literally everything. If tomorrow everyone woke up in the morning and just accepted whatever the morning program or the daily newspaper told us to accept, we'd all be well beyond fücked, (as if we're not already.)

1. Kubrick and family members are on record not "admitting" to this, but condemning the rumor specifically, including Stanley himself.
2. Buzz never said any such thing (if the quotes are taken in full context) and further, Buzz brought a Scottish Rite banner with him, as 33rd degree freemason (this is important, for reasons that deserves their own thread, perhaps) and the moon is technically already a masonic "lodge"
3. through 7. Readily available and completely reasonable explanations exist for all points, easily Googleable, not even necessarily debatable anymore.
8. The "tech" to go back was literally handwritten code on paper. Even if they had tried to save all this "tech" (really just math equations, equal to far less computing power than your cellphone) it would likely have been very deteriorated. Pictures of the tech involved still exist. The code is literally in a stack of paper books, about as tall as the 5'5" woman who wrote a bunch of it and was photographed next to it. That specific technology? Yeah bro. Long gone. Not a surprise, nor a conspiracy.
9. Not the first time, and far from "perfect".

Christina Koch is easily distinguished from the Hollywood actress by nothing more than examining the ages and facial features of each person bearing that name, same applies to Mr. Glover, and also acknowledging that names themselves aren't unique.

The cages being deployed and brought to the ground did indeed happen. They are what replaced the rubber room under the launchpad. They are designed to detach upon the firing of the engines. And to be far enough out of the way so as not to be torched into oblivion especially if there are people using them to escape as designed. Again, easily learned about.

I still have yet to see any AI or green screen from Artemis, despite my search. In fact, one of the astronauts even brought an iPhone. He has since released the original video of the moon's surface that he recorded. EXIF data and all. Go ahead and fake EXIF data, and please, let me know how that's accomplished, realistically.

That all being said, I'm still all in on conspiracy theory stuff. But, there is an ever fading line between fact and fiction, and I can't help but wonder if that, too, is by design. In any case, we have to try to remember that everyone is on their own journey towards the truth and we're not all in the same place.
