I remember being quite disillusioned as kid finding out the Apollo program was about politics and not science. Hell, 18 is still on the ground on display, abandoned. Personally I wish they'd just leave the damn Moon alone. It's done nothing to us.

Yeah let’s focus on the moon and not on our inability or mostly unwillingness to fix earth
