I'd REALLY like to know why no one has taught mt that hanging by a hook in the strap button hole trick!!!

Just make sure the thread size is identical to the strap button screw. I would remove and replace the hook-screw at least once everyday, while I was applying multi stain and oil coats. Ya don't want that hole to get all funky!

Good point! That's how Gibson moves them along the production line and why one screw is bigger than the other.
