Well…I did feel torn enough that I couldn’t choose just one. Your two finalists look fantastic IMO…so…either one is fine, but the full frontal/side by side has allowed the black rings to shine pretty well. The black rings seem to bring more attention to the faux binding in my eyes, and in that pose…side by side…I prefer black rings.

Those Wagner's are flat awesome!

Funny thing is, the bridge anyway, sounds better in here than it did in my Traditional. I don't know if I said it here, but having to play my Traditional exclusively since this guitar's been down has really made me not like it. I'll be selling the Traditional.

Well, they would sound the same, Jim is pretty consistent with his winds. I've had 2 sets of these and 2 sets of Darkbursts and each same set sounded the same. BTW these are Godwood bridge with Darkburst neck. Best pickups I've ever played.

Now that you mention it I can see that. Keep in mind the cream (both rings and the pickups) look brighter/whiter in the pics than they actually are in real life.

I had a Crossroads Neck that I just recently sold, never tried the bridge. I was in love with the darkburst set for a long time especially the neck pickup, then I tried a Godwood bridge and it's everything that was lacking in the Darkburst bridge. It's much beefier, but still retains the PAF vibe. It along with the Darkburst neck pickup are a match made in tone heaven!

Ok, I need some help. No one seems to like my amber knobs so what do you suggest then. I've been looking and I can't find anything that I'm confident will look better. The Zebras with cream rings are staying so this is the look.

I wish I could find some (like those in my link) but black and cream to match the pickups. I don't know if they would actually look good, but I can't find any to try and find out.
