Life might require a Klon pedal

Wait, you got it already?
Not yet. was watching the Pedal show now for days & stumbled on an amp that starts with a D but in the pedal world they dont like to say the word out loud..lol..so i went smooth& creamy mids ..doing a sorta country rock soong next week in studio. I just heard something in the Dumble mids..

Klon hunt is still going on.buddy has a Tumnus he is going to let me try. This dude on CL has a Ethos...must need cash..emailing me like mad...still watching the silver horse vs golden horse clips,,2 of those for $40 total might do the trick
I had bothon the board side-by-side. They were VERY similar. Better to get 2 silvers and leave the voice switch in different positions if you want 2 on the board.

that is what i was noticing..have just been peeping on the gold vs silver mids real close...i have a Super that can be forward & a Pro that is more scooped..so the more i think..i change amps to influence the mid bump prob more than anything else..same pedal in those 2 amps radical dif sound but still where it works best in my music..so disappointed my M's don't get used anymore...but gotta go with records best for the situation at hand

ANd youtube videos (iun my experience) are rarely very EXACT on the actual TONE you get when you get it home---(kinda like some women ive known) --- but lets not go there--
The problem with the tone pedal rabbit hole is it HAS NO BOTTOM ----

I would never rely on youtube videos as a reliable source for anything. Yeah, they're fun to watch live footage that you can't buy the actual dvd for, but the compression is so horrible it's a joke. I try to go with word of mouth, and who I know who has actually used something before buying it. Fortunately, I have a couple of local gear head friends who will loan me stuff after they make the plunge. They will also do most of the online work ahead of time, which also saves me a ton of work.

I'm into the real Klon's Years ago I rebuilt a 300B 15 watt per channel amp home stereo with a cheap CD player and JBL studio monitors
I was blown away U-tube videos are so compressed zero fidelity
