You possess an undeniable hilarious "gift for words".
My brother in law (lover of all music genres) and my nephew (his son, HUGE fan of all things heavy metal, especially Metallica) lead to all sorts of interesting conversations about music whenever we get together.
I'm committing to memory...your words, and I plan to use 'em on my nephew the next time he goes all heavy metal on me. I'll use your words to see if I can get a rise out of him, but it probably won't work on my nephew because he's also a HUGE fan of Southern Rock music. Skynrd, 38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Marshall Tucker Band, Atlanta Rythym Section, and of course, The Allman Brothers Band.
Slice it, dice it, however you may wish, but, in my mind, there are 3 distinct winners here amongst the bands that were winners.
Best Canadian Band: Rush
Best European Band: Pink Floyd
Best American Band: ZZ TOP

@TVvoodoo

Thank you, once again, for all of the hard work, time, and effort that you have put into this Battle of The Bands. You deserve a round of applause from.....everyone.
I have no problem with Rush at the top of those 3. However I am aware the general population does not agree.

I see evil everyday, wrapped in a neat package. lol
If you mean not as dark and possessed , yes.
Well done everyone.
What do you mean you see me everyday!?!?
Wrapped in a neat package?????
I knew someone was spying on me! I always had that feeling ….
Also, what I do on my alone time is none of anyone’s business!!! So what if I wrap myself neatly and strut around with night vision goggles …

Oops, I know you know that was not to be taken so literally. Good twist though . lmao

Agreed, both great. Any of the bands I like that didn’t make the cut never would had won this. Also pretty close Zep by 2.

There are so many bands that never made the list. Alice Cooper was nominated, he would have gone out first round I think.

Sabbath all the way
ZEP has been overplayed my entire life
Still to this day Zeppelin is over played but some of the songs have such a great groove, on Pandora radio you can make your own station with whoever you like by doing a thumbs up (y)

I have a classic metal station I am making, it plays a lot of everything. All good because if I don’t like it, thumbs down.
I also have a UFO station as well as Zeppelin , Judas Priest , Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath.
