Canadian Tone Bomb body, Fender Japan TMO-FAT neck, Cavalier Holy Grail Plus bridge pickup and Cavalier AR90 neck, 250k CTS pots (no-load tone, .022uf cap), CRL 3-way, Switchcraft jack, aniline dye stain under MinWax Wipe-On Gloss PolyU (buffed satin), 6lbs 7ozs so far, just need to string up with 11-50 and cut a bone nut. Life is still good.

That looks great, man. I've always been curious about a pine body Tele, but never had the opportunity to play one. I was at one time going to build one, but I chickened out.
 
Canada still has some wood left.
USA cut down all the trees, unless you want guitars made out of oak.
I wonder what oak would sound like?
Meanwhile it costs $10 for a $2 2X4...no more wood here.
Paid $13 for 2x4s yesterday. Lumber yard did not have any MDF and their supplier can’t commit to a delivery date either. And I thought the TP drought sucked, but no wood :run:

That's bound to shut down construction everywhere.
Imagine the house framing materials increasing 6X in cost.
