It's a cool guitar and a great photo.I just saw this posted on one Facebook group by a member. I looked and saw what appears to be a well played war horse.

This old blister is 60 years old now has a few thousand hours of stage time on it.

My oldest guitar. Purchased new in 1974. Has some dings and scratches, but otherwise mostly unscathed over nearly 50 years. View attachment 76339
I have an Ovation that sort of came along with my fiancee. I pretty much can't get along with the rounded back thing, and have often thought about a crazy idea of making a spray foam molded square sided prosthetic for it to make it comfortable.
Thanks! She turned 44 this year. The bestest guitar I've ever played.VERY VERY NICE Strat too, AT

I will admit, it fit better when I was young and skinny rather than old and fat.I have an Ovation that sort of came along with my fiancee. Re. Picks. Me too. Bought a pack of Fender mediums probably around 35-40 years ago. I still have 3 or 4 of those. I’ve only broken or wore out a couple. The rest I’ve either loaned and never got back or just plain lost. I have accumulated other picks over the years, but something about those Fenders just feels better.I don't gig or play out so I don't know if this qualifies, but my 70's reissue Strat gets the most attention from me. I'm fanatical about keeping my gear in pristine shape. Hell, I have picks that are 40 years old!
