38 years of playing on that original finish!!!!!

We grew up without a lot of money. We were taught to cherish the little that we had and I've always treated my instruments based on those principles.

I have an Ovation that sort of came along with my fiancee. I pretty much can't get along with the rounded back thing, and have often thought about a crazy idea of making a spray foam molded square sided prosthetic for it to make it comfortable.

The Les Paul Copy from @eSGEe - Probably earned me more money than any of my other guitars.



Some wear on the bridge...and it's been leveled and crowned 3 times since 2019

I don't gig or play out so I don't know if this qualifies, but my 70's reissue Strat gets the most attention from me. I'm fanatical about keeping my gear in pristine shape. Hell, I have picks that are 40 years old!

Re. Picks. Me too. Bought a pack of Fender mediums probably around 35-40 years ago. I still have 3 or 4 of those. I’ve only broken or wore out a couple. The rest I’ve either loaned and never got back or just plain lost. I have accumulated other picks over the years, but something about those Fenders just feels better.

My favorite has always been Chris Holmes' (W.A.S.P.) yellow one.
It's had many necks and many many repairs, today it's even in worse shape.
