I just saw this posted on one Facebook group by a member. I looked and saw what appears to be a well played war horse.

dunno Norm what do you think it is???
frankly MOST of my gear is players grade --- or worse not "looking" Im more into what the guitar sounds and feels like...what IT SAYS to me not so much that its "pristine" and factory perfect.......HELL I aint factory perfect---- why should my gear be?
last I checked clean clear coat and pristine finishes didnt effect tone...........................
case in point
Tab Benoit.

I try to as well. Stuff does happen when you play out but I am careful. This guy of mine I showed has a fairly brittle finish, it chips n stuff unlike nitro. And I guess, played it a LOT for over 40 years.Because I actually take really good care of my stuff, this is the only one that looks like this. The Les Paul is showing some wear at the edge of the body from my arm, but not a lot. My homemade Flying V is also showing wear, but have no photos to document it.
