I've embraced it now. There's nothing to be gained by me whinging about it, and to be honest, it's now part of who I am.
Yes, I miss being able to play sports, run around etc, but there's plenty of other things that I can still do.
I think the most sucky part was when I got knocked off my motorcycle back in 2017 and broke the right ankle in 2 places... That was fun while on crutches, trying to support my weight on an ankle that was as unstable as the one I'd just broken!![]()
Welcome back, as I have notice you here for more visits, Alex. I totally knew about your ankle and struggle, but missed the other leg cycle accident, crutches fiasco. Sure glad you are somewhat better, AND you made it alive after the bike accident.
