TRANsDUCE ON! :dood: :dood: :dood: :celebrate2: :celebrate2:

Thanks AT, had it happened on a week day, it could have been fixed in a grand total of 1 hour's time. 10 minutes to diagnose, remove 2 screws to get the part out. The rest of the time needed would be to locate the part at a supplier, go get it, then reinstall and turn on the switch. Instead, we had to wait 2 days till Monday to do the above. Our Monday was far more comfortable than the weekend.

This is turning into a never ending story. I'm not so sure the amp liked having the baffle flipped. There is now some tube rattle. Probably because the tubes are now behind the side of the cone rather than directly behind the magnet.

Accidentally blow it up, or give it to the student. Either should be a good reason for the need of a new amp to the management. ;)
The management never questions any acquisitions :)

I guess I could donate it to the little student, flip the 200 watt Quilter head and get one of those instead. A 50 watt combo with built in reverb is all I need, I rarely use the drive channel on the head anyway.

There's time to think about it though. The general semi conductor shortness seems to have hit Quilter as well. Yesterday Thomann said they'd be in stock in 1-2 weeks, today it's 7-10.
