Mitch: i can second that statement! I never uploaded a thing before, basically hadnt played to anyone but myself in over 20 years. Threw a few quick, spitballed videos out and expected absolutely mockery if im being honest. Thankfully, people were too kind lol

Im a pretty big believer in Karma ( for lack of a better word) and figure : take a second to actually LISTEN to someone who's trying to express themselves musically and making an effort, while making themselves vulnerable. Not only can you be supportive and help push that person forward but you can learn a thing or two from what they are doing. Everyone brings something to the table differently and I have no shame in admitting I will incorporate that into what I do. I have gotten inspiration from all over here!

I like that..LISTEN to the expressing in the music..we all reveal ..there is no right or wrong..no criticism to really make..yeah we can help with the things we need to learn..but as far as the music..to me none is bad..its personal..it comes from within & it matters... good one Clock !

@Kerry Brown I registered on thrash metal forum got banned same day lol, as they are so above everyone and having all pointless rules... I was like F... you all I'm going back home to my TTR. Seriously this is the best place, people are knowledgable and on top of that real down to earth cool ass kicking peeps.

@Mitch Pearrow SJMP you keep posting brother is fun watching you riffing, and play with that V ore she feels lonely :)

Ramo got mad lead skills !! Tone deaf here also .. see music in 7 colors, the notes are like the rainbow & just paint with em.. purposefully never learned a cover cause wanted to make music that does that expression, and not stuck in there patterns with the right hand & the basic ..over & chord movements in popular music.....

kinda tied emotion to music then make the words describe it... I couldn't tell ya an E from an A if you strummed it..but once i know the root & the change..it's on !!! Music is freedom to me,,the only way left i can even express myself..

i think learning covers is good and it can spark inspiration, learn new chords, patterns and can lead you making your own thing out of it.

Way I see it what matters is, you play for yourself and if your playing makes you feel good that's all it should matter and if someone likes your playing it's a bonus.
when i started out on guitar no one wanted to teach me, i got teachers, and they were just taking money and teaching me nothing... in the end i started teaching myself until i met my current teacher.

i mean i have not had any lessons with him since 2007 but i still call him teacher, he taught me pentatonic scale and how to use it and rest its all me...

its very disheartening when a young kid is starting out and you tell him you suck and you are tone-deaf you never will be able to play. i was kind of like Mustaine i wanted to prove them all wrong and i start pushing myself.

Speaking of deaf, I actually know a deaf drummer. He used to drum with another friend who had a Christian Metal band called Two Edged Sword back in the early 90's.

Theres a local band around here called The Boatmen that has a blind pianist ( became blind shortly after birth from UV lights used to pull jaundice out of him). But being deaf in music would be a lot harder to pull off

It had a bad speaker ( honestly believe it was just a bad connection) and instead of fixing it, he traded it plus paid $50 for a used 1960B 300w cab. Fine cabinet but he really lost on that deal in my opinion.

I personally love the 1960A/B Cabs, great versatile sound!

Nah man the bottom right speaker was weak and making stinker noises i moved it to the top and still made molested up sounds .
