This has again started on my Double Neck. Very loud jangly/overtone on the 'g' only - fretted or open - Sitar-like in nature.
Moved string out of saddle and inspected groove. Added strip of paper to saddle a nut groove - no change.
Dropped bridge pickup a lot - no change.
Checked intonation - dead on 1st through 12th fret.
Redressed nut slot floor - no change.
Taped off strings behind nut and bridge - no change.
No loose screws or hardware.
No 'warble' when intonating...
