I've Been Doing Adrian's Favorite Thing for Hours!

It's all good, I just think it's funny how our threads degenerate from the topic so often.

I'm going to be decorating the case on my pedal this weekend. I'm trying something new with some clear sticker plastic
stuff I bought. I hope it works so I have a nice unique graphic instead of a plain color...

Cant wait to see the results---

YEs threads get hard to find-- like --- I was looking for this thread about steve harris and bass guitars--- but I'll be DAMNED no threads have that title--- I wonder what thread I was posting in when........OH! -- never mind

For the solder clean up? I just use 99% isopropyl alcohol. I have these little acid brushes I use. Been doing it that way
for 40 years. It's what we used in the USAF even in High Reliability Soldering.
I'm not aware of this type of solder cleaning technique. Where are you applying the cleaning? Or is this a way to prep the contacts of the pcb and the components?

It's how I was taught in High Reliability Soldering Class in the USAF. After all the soldering is complete you just clean all the flux and such off with Isopropyl Alcohol using an acid brush...

Nice compressor choice Sp8ctre, Im liking my BYOC 5 knob more & more as I (slowly) get the hang of setting controls. Look forward to your completed pedal post. Cheers

OK Guys, enough pedal and bass and sarcasm talk. Gonna derail this one good.

I left for work today and my girlfriend's 25 year old daughter was still asleep when I left the house. Therefore, all that happens within was in her hands.
A little background info, a few weeks ago during our vacation she took it upon herself to clear out the fridge side of the side by side ice box.
It was organized to her liking, but really sucked for putting stuff in usable locations. SO, flash forward to this past week. Her mom went back to Ohio to visit the grandparents and I got left to fend for myself ( cooking and feeding wise)

Anyway, while I was at work, she must have decided it was time to throw away more good food and keep at least 1 or 2 items that smelled off. These she left in the fridge. Go figure.
As I looked in the produce drawers I noticed some hippie type organic straight from the farmer veggies were all AWOL and in the trash can. Then when got to the lowest drawer, I see some packages of Costco bacon and that's it. SO, I look in the trash again and see 2 partial packages of Costco bacon. Probably 3/4 to a whole pound worth.

Doing the math on her saying she left at 3:30 and it was now 8:30 I tried to decide if the bacon was ok to cook up and eat.

What say you guys? Is it safe to cook and eat uncooked bacon that was in the trash 5 + hours

Im going to go with ----a solid--- NO-- on the 5 hour room temp trash bacon---

if it had been in the sealed package on the counter-- then yes-- but -- open "partial pack" in the trash can -- no.

do not cook it--- take at least 3 strips--- place them on aluminum foil -- -go to the girls room --- because well she has NO PROBLEM DICKIN WITH YOUR STUFF----

slide the aluminum foil (bacon side up!) under the head of her bed...........wait a week.........laugh at her comments of odors and nasty smells.

Good question.
My initial gut answer is....nope(unless you’re feeding her).
But if you were to smoke it at around 225° for about an hour and change with a little apple wood....until it’s nearly jerky....maybe. Then feed it to her.

Another buddy played a rig like this live all the time. Anotjher of my bucket list Amps

HAHA I wasn't giving it to the daughter
The question was for me. It is full of salt is it not?

I had a small-- cheapo acoustic bass amp -- for like a hot minute-- sounded like poo-- had to CRANK it to 9 to HEAR it then it rattled and shook like it was coming apart-- cabinet vibrated--- horrible
b15 model-- was on blowout---returned it to Sweetwater in exchange for a RUMBLE 15 by Fender (no upcharge) which was a FAR superior product----but-- got traded as it was NOT on par with the Hartke -- and to compare to the KUSTOM from the 70's 150 watts with a 15 inch speaker------ was --- well just SAD.
