Its my #1 Passion

I belong to MAAC. Model Aeronautics Association of Canada, it is the Governing body of all Model aircraft Pilots. Each Member has 7 million dollars in liability Insurance provided by MAAC. Membership fees are at this time $90 per year, We only fly at sanctioned fields through Canada and throughout the World. I can fly anywhere in the World with my Membership card. Also with the Membership we also receive a Magazine 6 times per year, shows us the events that will be going on throughout the Country and in our Zones. The Country is split into Zones, each Zone has a Zone Director who travels and participates in the events of his Zone. He is responsible to the Board. We are in close affiliation with Transport Canada, we have strict regulations to follow and rightfully so. These look like toys, but are Big Boy toys, you must have respect for these, Aircraft if you don't you will find out quickly. There have been individuals killed and seriously injured. I have witnessed severe cuts amongst other things. Safety is #1 with me when using my Aircraft.

Those flying models are fascinating! I was flying aircraft before I had a driver's license. Growing up in an agricultural area, with access to friend's with Air Tractors, afforded all sorts of unlicensed flight activities.

Safety and awreness - Like flying a fabric covered Stearman...not too forgiving of operator errors.

Google maps search Eckert Field - Strathmore, California....

Rob I have a flight sim that is specifically made for R/C Aircraft. I can plug my Transmitter to the computer everything functions exactly the same. It is a Phoenix V3 when they do upgrades to the software they send it directly to the sim in my computer, and then I can download them for free. I have like 40 Flying fields and 50 Aircraft, you can put in wind gusts up to any speed or constant wind. The planes can be sized to what ever size you have whether 1/5 Scale up to 50% Pretty cool stuff.

20180504_085639-2656x1494.jpg Session 5, I just took possession of my Dad's corsair. He's moving into a condo, and is letting go many planes. (Many!!)

After talking to my cousin in TX, I've decided to send it to him as he will use it more than I will. I want someone to enjoy it.

I did my best to pack it. I feel I did a heck of a job. It just may survive the journey across the entire country. Crossing my fingers.
