Its my #1 Passion

I found a few more old ones yesterday, that I forgot about. Over 50 years old, built by scratch. They were tucked away in a crawl space. I haven't even pulled them out yet. I know they have been in there for 49 years, no idea when he actually built them.

Pretty bitchen! Reminds me of a good friend who passed a few years back. He did the RC copters and planes. He did both gas and some electric fan jet stuff. I use to record some of his flights. He also did big ass rockets he built. I got some crazy stories about some of both rocket and rc helicopter flights. This brings back many fine memories. Thanks for posting!

In the future when I can dig it up ( I keep good notes on my footage and I'm crossing my fingers), I would like to share a short footage of my friend's copter hitting a glitch on the RC signal and while landing a copter it crashed next to me. A piece of the broken blade hit me in the arm and knocked my butt down to the ground. Yes, I have that some where on Hi-8 or regular 8 mm tape NTSC format.

Beautiful plane. This summer we visited the Boise Warhawk Museum and was unbelievable. I took pics and was going to post a bunch for @Session 5 but you were gone for the summer and I must have deleted them. There is a couple of planes there that was in the movie Midway.

Nice looking Corsair. I only have one tail dragger and it was always a handful to keep it some what straight on take off. Looks like those are functional retracts too, nice!

My airplane knowledge doesn't stretch past a paper airplane....(y)
EDIT: However I sense popsicle build in the near future.....

Now you're talking!:)
