Real nice! My trainer by the time I learned to land was about 75% epoxy glue. Every time out was a crash landing.

Do you fly off a grass field?

This is an old reliable I like to take out at the first of the season, to get my thumbs back in shape. I have flown it every year for the last 10 years, she kicks butt, she's getting a little weather beaten now, but is a riot to fly.

Yes I fly off grass fields I belong to 2 different clubs, I have my home field and another different Cub field about 20 minute drive from my Summer place.

I’ve always flown off of paved fields. Seems like you would have larger wheels for a grass field.

On my Big planes they have larger wheels, the ones that have smaller wheels no problems , The grass is cut like a Golf course, Our mowers cut very close very well groomed. We have asphalt runways as well, just not where I fly. I go to some meets where they have both.

I belong to MAAC. Model Aeronautics Association of Canada, it is the Governing body of all Model aircraft Pilots. Each Member has 7 million dollars in liability Insurance provided by MAAC. Membership fees are at this time $90 per year, We only fly at sanctioned fields through Canada and throughout the World. I can fly anywhere in the World with my Membership card. Also with the Membership we also receive a Magazine 6 times per year, shows us the events that will be going on throughout the Country and in our Zones. The Country is split into Zones, each Zone has a Zone Director who travels and participates in the events of his Zone. He is responsible to the Board. We are in close affiliation with Transport Canada, we have strict regulations to follow and rightfully so. These look like toys, but are Big Boy toys, you must have respect for these, Aircraft if you don't you will find out quickly. There have been individuals killed and seriously injured. I have witnessed severe cuts amongst other things. Safety is #1 with me when using my Aircraft.
