This is an Engine the same that is in the plane above. A couple of years ago they stopped making this engine due to more sales with their gas engines, Too bad for us die hard 2 stroker maniacs like me for one! These engines are known as one of the best engines you could get your hands on. This engine weighs in at 2LBS Power to weight ratio is AWESOME! It is 4 H.P in gas engines are one and a half to double the weight of this two stroker. They are making some progress on making gassers lighter, but still not there. These O.S 160s are just great engines, so I went on the hunt I wanted to pick up a third one. I contacted my Zone Director who takes on Estate sales, I asked him, if he comes across one of these Baby's in decent shape to let me know. He told me lots of guys are wanting them. Well say lucky or what! He told me he had just picked up an estate the day before I talked with him, but he hadn't sorted everything out yet he had to get ready to sell the goods for the Woman's Husband who is deceased. But he said to me he thinks one was listed in the goods, he told me he would get back to me so low and behold he had one in Mint condition. He said it looked inside the cylinder like new, when he sent me the pictures I had to grab this up fast!! This engine I think he ran a bit of fuel through and put it back in the box. This engine new sold for $400. I picked it up for $200 I am so happy to have it! Here's a couple of pics.DSC00245.JPG DSC00246.JPG

Well, I sure missed flying this past Summer and now its fall, and still will get none in this year. I had nine pre cancerous growths removed, started in June and the last one removed in late August. I have battled skin cancer on and off for about 18yrs now. The main thing is they are all removed and benign , I am indeed thankful for this, so I was informed that I should stay out of the Sun this year. Health must come first, but I sure missed being out there, and missing some events . Well next year will come quick enough and hope to be at the flying field , and enjoying the camaraderie with the guys.

Glad to hear things are improving -- is that a motor in your pocket or are you happy to see me???? ;)

Skin cancer blows I have been and am dealing with it myself--
Hard to avoid the Sun here-- :(
Next year is RIGHT around the corner hang in there -- can you use like a screen or this?
