Precisely, it doesnt make sense why they did this lol im more curious of how the strings are now staying in the bridge, since its a standard trem??It’s a setneck Strat with a Fender trem.

I wondered that myself. Wouldnt be as good of a locking system like a standard locking nut but it WOULD work like this i supposeThats a Wilkerson Roller nut on that thing.Sure theres not a Floyd type trem back there ?

Common on Floyd Rose guitars...
Ive never seen it myself but like i mentioned earlier; ive read on forums that some guys with floyds do this to minimize time during string changes and are too lazy to cut them. But that still requires a Floyd bridge where the ball ends are cut regardless. Having a standard bridge literally seems impossible to me doing it this way: i guess they tie the strings in a knot? LolYou mean you actually see people string their guitars like this?
I’ve done it. Works fine. What’s the difference with the ball end hanging out of the machine head peg hole, as opposed to the other end of the string? If they were to clip them off, you’d never know. You mean you actually see people string their guitars like this?
