I absolutely hate working on Gretsch guitars. Thank God it isn't very often. They are the most arduous, time consuming instruments to set up and have the greatest amount of problems.....

Another common sight....if you can't get the logo right, forget about intricate details, like fret placement, neck angle, radius...it's like the brown M&M's in the Van Halen contract.

What's sad is..... to my knowledge, Gretsch used to be really good guitars. Too many big name players have used them thru the years for them to have been this questionable in QC.

Mostly older, USA models or custom shop models. Highly doubt these guys were playing these Chinese models..
I've played the older USA ones and just hated them. They left much to be desired.
