Interview:

My post was meant to come across mirthful, not to be taken seriously.

Now on a serious note.
Is my life less meaningful? No, not less meaningful at all.
He is doing what he loves, there aren't many people who are that lucky.
I did not have the forture or maybe the insight when I was younger to pursue or even explore fully what I would love to do. I do what I do because it pays well enough to afford me some luxuries and I am extremely good at it, but I wouldnt call my career my "dream job".
I feel very lucky myself.
I wound up taking Audio Visual in college which was my background as a kid so I found it super easy and rewarding. Then I got a job in a photo supply shop where I worked eventually becomjng manager for 19 years, they sold out and I went to another shop. That's where I learned my photography stuff amd amassed my equipment.
Always played out in a band w my bro even if we didnt play out all that much. Got in with a great singer in 2004 and have been gigging fairly regiular since.
To me, being a weekend warrior playjng whatever and howevwr I want, very few compromises and quit retail in 2011 now retired is indeed living the dream. The missus sold off all the farmlamd her n her bro rented out so we are set well THROUGH retirement at that rate!
Enjoyed my job till it became painful then retired.
No complaints.

Good for you man. I mean it. Loving what you do is a rare thing.

Standing in one spot for 10 hours at times can be rough...
Welcome to the repetitive world of quality control. I worked in a lab setting for many years and still do to some extent.
QC tip - shift your weight it will save your feet. And if you are constantly working on something which requires you to look down. You will start to hunch your back causing your lower back to fatigue. Good posture will save your lower back.

I love my role.

I polish out imperfections, perform setups, and generally find problems before they leave the shop.
