You will certainly be able to get some excellent tones from that slab!
I adore my Gladiator version....the only difference is a wrap-tail vs yours with the tune-o-matic.
I really like the natural burst color there! ....and the belly cut....and the fretboard has some character...

I always loved that guitar of yours. Although I would prefer a wrap-tail, this will do! Looks to be a Nashville bridge, right?

The Epi Special (bolt on) is a GREAT modding platform. Mine plays wonderfully after some work, and I paid around $ 100 for the guitar

Thanks! Yes, the wife named the guitar Galileo! She is a Madam Curie. That said, I have much love and support for all Newtons that prefer a Galileo!
