SO resonance control is additional Bass in a guitar amp?

Googled it:

What is resonance on a guitar amp?

The resonance control allows you to control the overall bass response of the amp. This is how the low end reacts and feels after the preamp EQ has been applied. Lower settings on a clean tone will give you a tighter, snappier low end.

I had no clue there even was such a thing as Resonance Control.

Of course I mostly shop or try out amps I could possibly one day afford, such as Bassman's, Used Twins, 4 Hole Marshalls, etc. No fancy Gizmo's just tubes, pots, trans, caps, resistors and wires.

MAN, I still hear Robert's voice from the few telephone calls we shared. Moreso, I also think of him often whenever I am tinkering with guitars and amps, or wrenching on cars and trucks.

I still shake my head in disbelief that he died the way he did.
For sure. And then to have Ace pass under the same circumstances. Brought back too many sad memories.
