Immobilized in a Mickey D's parking lot.

Have never personally been a big fan of a “V”……. But the stories this thing could tell makes it one awesome bass. Happy for you chili.

I BLIVE. Thank you for your sharing in the experience, This V is so comfortable and It sounds freaking KILLER. I took the strings off and tweaked a few things in the bridge. Restrung and tuned up. Then since the strings were lower, it pushed the pups harder and gave killer distortion on my teeney amp in gain mode. Kathy said its vibrating. i pushed the amp boost switch off and it cleaned up nicely. It felt Lemmy like when in boost mode.

Oh, and the other incredible thing, the seller is actually a bass player in a band he started in the 70's but he is a lefty and this bass is a righty. Oh and he also happens to be a roadie for Michael. How freaking cool is that? I had to keep the story of my finding this bass a secret and refrained from posting, BECAUSE I didn't want it to turn into a hoax or to jinx myself. But the seller assured me he had it earmarked for me. Man what a hard 1+ month's wait since finding him.

As I was examining my new V Bass and trying to decipher who the heck signed each spot, I was able to find some good identifying evidence.

Schenker's was easy. Herman Rarebell's fairly easy too, but REV with a drawing was a bit less easy to figure out till I saw a pic of him and Rev Bass and drawing. Then there is the God Bless and name which I figured out is Wayne Findlay, this left 2 more. The easiest being Doogie White, and the final one I have yet to figure out in the lower V point. I am wondering if it is Elliot Rubinson's

Here is a Good pic of them all except Rev. Francis Buchholz has the bass in the right on this pic.

Schenker, Herman, and Rev signed the Scratch plate, while Doogie White is the upper Sig on Upper horn, Wayne Findlay also in gold God Bless in by the bridge, and this leaves the black inked sig in lower point as the uncertain one.
