That’s a tough one.

But, if I was just to get an HH guitar, it would probably be something like a 335.

Having said that, I do have three types of HH guitars, a Les Paul, SGs, and a Jackson. The SG gets the most play among those.

And As Smitty knows, MY ES335 was his old ES335 copy, and it is a fantastic guitar he knows I love as quite a favorite to play.

I have 1 Godin --- the build quality the woods the attention to detail the feel the playability ---- are all on par with guitars costin 2 and 3 times what these do

Technically I have 2 Godins --- but 1 is a Seagull lol which I also ADORE (and for the record I dont generally like acoustics) and when I find the right trade deal on a Godin bass.....well..... yep -- Ill have another of those as well.

I played a gambit and was fixing to buy a Dean like the one above, but used / excellent for a good price.
Needed a new washing machine ~~ looking at @ $600.
Found a really good used one only a few years old - picked it up Thursday evening.
I just hooked it up, ran it and its all good.

I tried to sell this to the wife: the savings on the washer = easy money to buy the guitar.
She's not buying it and the guitar sold anyway.

It was worth a play.

"Only" 12k? Sure, ill take 2 because its good to have spares roaming around this palatial mansion. Just gotta make sure i can fit the case in my Bentley; Rolls Royce is still in the shop

Found the fix - replace worn plastic dogs - $6..
Parts on order; should be an easy fix.
