If You Ever Wondered What Happened To Marshall Amps

I know what happened to Marshall ! just played a Marshall 1986 JCM 800 2204, modded with an xtra tube stage with a Flying V into a 4x12 cab at proper volume !! While staring at 1968 SL 100 circuit with 3 modes.Super Bass/R/T mod(brown)/SL 100 MV & 3 way eq switch !

:D

The amplifier business is now only 5% of the total Marshall brand revenue, with the lion's share coming from the Bluetooth speakers and headphones.
They still make as many amps as the consumer demand requires, but it's under a much larger global organization now.
Amp revenue may be almost immeterial on the financials, but a Marshall stack in music video is still carrying the brand recognition that sells Bluetooth speakers and headphones.
They're gonna keep making amps...

The new modded Plexi & 800 is finally what they should of done about 40 years ago. What a dif it does make with right mods. If i had to have a modern Marshall, DSL50 all day long. Recorded it so many times. It is a raw beast in its own right, not supposed to be 800 or SL it is it's own animal ! Humm...

Everyone has a different idea of what they think is the perfect amp that Marshall should be selling. Making a million different amps is impossible. The modded versions was an attempt to satisfy some of these requests. And the complaints ensued that price was more than a DIY mod, or the mod should have been a different mod.
