A few months ago I would have said Tele type, but my recently acquired LP 60s standard has completely changed the way I feel about that.

I voted Explorer for obvious reasons however, it's hard to argue the iconic SG shape as well with the devil horns design and ultra light weight yet massive sound.

At one time I had 9 Strats and then they lost favor. I've had at least 5 Tele's, 7 SG's, 12 Les Paul's a couple those Double Cuts. Only one V and no Explorers.

Probably a lot more than listed above. But this Schecter PT Tele type with Humbuckers is really working out for me. Plus, it can be reconfigured with many pickup options.

Gotta do you man. Teles are no doubt my least favorite solidbody ever - to me uncomfortable, screeching narrow sound, ugly as hell. Opinions vary though.

Modern Tele with a belly cut, modern radiused neck and your choice of Humbuckers is working for me.

If I were to get a Les Paul it would have to have the belly cut. It makes a guitar so much more comfortable for me.
