dont have a JR faded.. the Red one on left is the faded 490/490 & the sunburst is zebras.. that 120th anni is a special guitar. Every single amp, any genre..it will find edge of breakup & just sit right at leads, a whopping $350 paid..its snappy & super responsive...run it with 9's in D standard

SG player for sure.. not sure why but have gravitated to the wood grain. The special p90 is the nicest guitar i ever saw ..its flawless & the finish is stunning..but i grab my cheapy faded, jr & trib the most.. just wonder sometime if the paint traps the little bit of resonance i love about SG's.
The special is being sold..its a looker but unfortunately for me not a player. As i blow all this gear out..on the wall..majority left is natural-basic guitars

Since blueberry is likely to be a limited run, GET that one and if you want a black SG down the road, I am sure there are THOUSANDS of them that you could get a Black one anytime.

Me too, but seeing as these are built to order I have to roll the dice. I haven't been able to locate one of these new or used in the U.S.
