I Got the J&J Covid Vaccine on Wednesday

This 48 year old at the time healthy Carpenter, house framer, has just been re leased from hospital from having covid 19. He spent 60 days of his 110 days in a coma, with a tube down his throat to keep him alive, he also suffered a stroke in there while they were trying to keep him from dying. It all started out that









It was on Nov. 22 when Silva, who had been working as a subcontractor framing houses in Newmarket, Ont., went to the hospital because he was having trouble breathing on his own after testing positive for coronavirus.

"I was in the hospital for two days. After that, I was transferred to the ICU and I was in the ICU for 60 days and I practically don't remember anything," he said.

Silva said he suffered cardiac arrest and a stroke and spent the entire two months in a coma.

No worries-- also FYI 1 reason is this -- my understanding is (and I have spent DAYS at a vaccination site) the number of available vaccines are LIMITED.

Im NOT at risk-- Im NOT a candidate-- I have ZERO underlying issues (that are on the list at least) no one in my immediate family-- friends-- or neighbors is at risk

So -- if I go use a vaccine that COULD have saved a life of somebody that REALLY DOES NEED IT and gets TURNED away from the vaccine site because they are out of vaccines for that week........... (and I have seen the looks in the eyes of the ones that show up late and CANT GET A SHOT......sad-- very sad-- they are seriously AFFRAID for their LIVES at that point--) and I WASTE a shot I dont need........what a MONUMENTALLY GIANT BLEEPBLEEPBLEEPBLEEPBLEEPBLEEP I would be now wouldnt I??

I dont fit the criteria -- not gettin one

besides Im expendable -- so .........

that reminds me I need more rum.
 
I am healthy, take no medications of any kind, and looking forward to getting the shot, hopefully my age group in another week. They have done 80 and up this week its 75-80, so hopefully another week or two. Here they recommend everyone get the shots whether your healthy or have some health issues. They gave AstraZeneca to ages 60-64 two weeks ago. Its not mandatory to get the shot, its up to the individuals, but yes they are encouraging that everyone get the shot, same as in U.S.

In my job I am a designated First Responder. The company got a crap load of the vaccine. It was offered and I took it.

They were not going to give it away to the masses if I refused. It was for Federal Workers...
 
My Wife got her Pfizer vaccine shot today, she said they were very organized, had her shot right on the appt time, in and out after the 15 minute wait after shot 20 minutes. She said she was happy to get it, hopefully my age group next week..

Our good friend of ours , she is a Registered Nurse who works in the ER of a large hospital, that is known as one of the best. Her words to us on this topic of the covid vaccine is TAKE IT! She told us if we could see what is going on inside the hospital taking lives of healthy people in there 20s 40s and so on, which is happening while i speak. She has had the shots, her Husband who is a Police Officer has had his shots and she said all 3 Girls will be getting theirs as well, which will be soon for the younger age groups. I will take the advice from an Emergency Room Nurse who knows what's going on.. As of today here in Ontario there are over 400 in ICU fighting for their lives, the Doctors here are saying they are seeing many younger people coming in now, 46 % of the last 157 people to be admitted are under age of 50. We are in lockdown right now we have been in the 3rd wave for the last 2 weeks, the numbers are climbing quickly, the Doctors here want the Government to go into full lockdown, the hospitals have been transferring patients to other hospitals because they have no beds available or the staff to look after any more. I am looking forward to getting my vaccine shots..

They said the same thing about Smallpox and Polio vaccines too throughout time. Thankfully reason and logic trumped paranoia
 
At 1:30pm tomorrow, i take the 2nd Pfizer dose. Ive heard theres some significant side effects on the 2nd like aches, pains and even fever. If its a day or 2 of hell, still beats a ventilator or worse, especially while working in a hospital among the infected. Not to mention, my little county now has confirmed B.1.1.1.7 Covid variant cases aka the British Strain

Also riddle me this --By definition-- would not a vaccine taker (a healthy otherwise normal person not at RISK not over age-- no health issues--) who runs out and takes a vaccine ...... also be qualified as "paranoid" ???? Paranoia flows BOTH directions. And as I have stated before this healthy person is denying (because of limited dosage) that vaccine to a person actually IN NEED of one in some cases........ thats not paranoid thats a reality Ive personally watched at a vaccination site.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT: Some think vaccines cause Autism -- I have an Autistic Grandson .... I know for a fact he changed -- AFTER the vaccines, watched it.... the family now lives with it....and will for life.
"pharma" says its not possible......... I say "pharma" lies for profit ......

THis is a slippery double edge sword this thread is heading too

lets ALL be careful -- this COVID thing is far from OVER -- or cured-- or debunked-- or written off to history -- those tales are still being written .....how about lets see how the movie ends before we start arm chair quarterbacking it. ;)
