Y'know, all this reminds me...way back when I first joined the T-60 Mafia forum, I posted a question to Chip Todd and asked him if he thought Hartley Peavey would ever reissue the T-60 and T-40.

I mean, how cool would that be!

Anyway, Chip Todd seems like a great guy and he's really helpful, but his answer was a little disappointing. Essentially, he responded that Hartley wasn't that kind of guy. Going back to a previous design wasn't really his style. He liked to keep doing new things.

But, seriously, I'd love to see the T-60 reissued, with all the features of the original, and made in the US, just like the original. Maybe a few tweaks would be cool, like a 22 fret fretboard, rather than the original 21 fret design. But, I'd love to see it.

Well I can tell you waht -- I am happy as a loon ---- this wood by Heaven is giving me wood just looking at it.....---my T-40 was hands down my favorite bass---I play it daily--- even if its just for a moment or two before work---I have to TOUCH that guitar every day--- now--- I have a dilemma as the same is occurring with this lovely honey colored lass.

I mean by THunder just look at it--------I mean LOOK --- this is the feel and finish Gibson and PRS are TRYING to mimic in the newer lines....

I think I described the T-40 to Gasket once as being like the perfect old pair of jeans when you put it on........the T-60 is the perfect old leather jacket that goes with those jeans...............................
