yes. bottom 5 lined up lovely but the new bridge had 2 additional screws closer to the bridge --I also sanded the BACK of the bridge (removing the paint) so the ground made damn good contact with bare metal

Good thinking on the sanding. I had to drill a few holes IIRC on body for the Hipshot. One nice thing if I also remember about that bridge was it can work if you string through the bridge or string thru back of bass and then thru bridge.

The fertilizer part was how if you listen and practice to post 47, esgee, your fretless skills will develop and grow into fun like that guy demos on his Squier J Fretless.
