How to: Fretless Fender Jazz bass --under 220.00

yes. bottom 5 lined up lovely but the new bridge had 2 additional screws closer to the bridge --I also sanded the BACK of the bridge (removing the paint) so the ground made damn good contact with bare metal

Good thinking on the sanding. I had to drill a few holes IIRC on body for the Hipshot. One nice thing if I also remember about that bridge was it can work if you string through the bridge or string thru back of bass and then thru bridge.

tis a nice thought Chili -- and true it does inspire-----but I dont think I have a enough years and skills in me to reach that level.....even if I quit my job and sold my grandkids........say....can I do that? is that an option?????

Adrian, I always heard that less junk rubbin and more practicin will get you far.
