How Much Would Spend on Concert Tickets Today ?

Just spent $168 to see Halestorm with Apocalyptica and Lindsey Stirlinglast night.
Worth every penny.
I never grew up in Pennsylvania so how could I catch them in a club for example?
Lots of pics n vids coming.

Saw a bunch of big acts in the eighties...Pink Floyd, Robert Plant, Iron Maiden, Heart, A.B.B., ARS, Kiss (3 times) SRV twice... more than I can remember actually.

$20.00 was about average price back then. Last show I went to was Alice Cooper in May. Macon has a brand new ampatheater thats really nice with great acoustics and only 45 minutes from where I live. Took the wife and daughter to that one and me and My dau sang along with every song. No lip sync for Alice and Nita Straus was ON FIRE!!! He really brings it every time (second time I've seen him)

tickets were about $65 each but after taxes and fees came out to about $100 each . That's a lot of scratch for me, but the memories were worth it ( made a deal with my daughter that I'd buy the tickets but she'd have to buy the tour shirts!)

I wish I had seen the original Alice Cooper band but he always has good players.
Yesterday I started watching Alice Cooper Trash’s the World Live. It’s good. Recorded in the 90’s.
It’s really expensive to see Rush because the demand is so high.

Limited shows in 2026.

Yeah, and so it turns out I lied earlier in this thread: The real number is $325, because that's what I just paid to get a ticket to one of the Rush shows at the Forum in June.
I honestly never thought I would get a chance to see Lerxst on a stage again and I view this as that one last chance, so, yeah, there's that. Rush is my Kryptonite.

Neither myself or the band are getting younger. I am on a flash back, the planets have aligned.
Rush is on the road and will be to. It turns out they don’t have a show closer than 1500 miles to my location.
Me too, I got in to the pre sale Friday and it was shocking how much tickets were.
I knew my wife had signed up for the Monday presale and after so much waiting in the que we are in
what day are going? @gball

We are doing the June 11 show at the Forum in LA. No way I am going to go up and back same day, so will make a 2 or 3 day thing of it, see some friends in the old neighborhood while I am there.

I haven’t checked and most likely wouldn’t go anyway. But living 60 miles from Chicago has its benefits. Betting they’ll have at least one show in my backyard.

Same here, staying for a couple of nights. The Los Angeles KIA Forum.
We are going on the 9th 7:30 pm level 200
I was trying to get in the bowl on Friday but it was twice as much.
I did have the option to get row 20 on the right for about $600 but my lady is 5’ nothing and neither want to stand the whole time.
I did mostly stand though when we saw Michael Schenker on the 3rd.
That’s the other thing, I spent a butt load flying, car rental and hotel. In Burbank the parking was $4.50 a hr. at the hotel garage , Hotel was $180 a night but 11 miles from the venue ,food is stupid expensive there.

This time , it’s a road trip !

Mr. live, if you are a fan consider it.
You might be able to go to the box office and get tickets. Better yet if you have offspring you could ask them to get tickets for you?

I wanted to see Rush again, so signed up for the pre-sale, and blah, blah, blah. When they went on sale, all the venues I chose I was between 86,000 and 93,000 in queue. Obviously I did not get any. I am still curious what they sold for. I can't imagine they were short of taking out a second mortgage.

I think we payed $310 a seat for the second section up. Of course close up is over $1000 a seat. I knew ahead I was no going to pay more than roughly around $300 a seat but I want to be there. I hope they film all the shows at all of the venues.
