How many retirees do we have here on TTR

Retirement for me is a long way off, and somewhat paradoxical.

I would like to retire from my current company and line of work. But, I know myself too well and I could only take it easy for about two months after retirement before I'd have to get up and do something else. I just can't sit still.

So, in some sense, I'll probably work until I die simply because I'm too hyperactive not to.

At the same time, to quote Lemmy Kilmister in Ace of Spades: "I don't want to live forever." I do have my faith, but continuing on ad infinitum on this planet is a rather dismal concept.

At some point, I want to breathe my last and be forgotten to this globe.

No reason to have to sit still when you retire, stay active, get involved, get another hobby besides guitar, there is lots of things to do out there if you want to. If a person does not have enough money to retire , thats one thing. If they think when they retire they will just be sitting around, then they have made that choice .

Chasfred. I sure miss seeing you here.

If any of you guys ever get to meet Chas, YOU will meet one super nice guy. Smitty and I enjoyed the company of him and his lovely bride in Annapolis while they were on a trip a few years ago.

Not retired here, too poor to ever retire. Once I get my back fixed, I hope to work till I die.
Too many houses to finish and cars to build.
Chilli, your kind words are much appreciated. Adrienne and I enjoyed the afternoon with you and Smitty equally as much.
