How do you like your strings?

I try to replace mine before they start to have intonation problems.

gutiar strings couldnt tell ya ...............only one I know for sure is the es Paul recording has GIBSON

I recently got some EB 11's "BEEFY SLINKYS" to try on the Esquire and maybe the LP Jr. ..... will see how that goes......

These are the only strings i use, going on 7 years now , have not had one string break. As soon as the strings sound flat off they come..D"Addario 10-46 Nickel Wound..

They seem a little more evenly balanced than the Ernie Ball.

Same here. They take about a half hour of steady playing to sound and feel right to me.
And I also replace them as soon as they start to flatspot, so about every 5-6 hours of use.

I like them best when the horrid new string "zing" is gone, so after a few days.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. That "new string zing". Don't care for it.

NYXL for the win. Since I've started using them, I love these.

I use the regular D'Addarios when I'm playing with different gauges, but once I find my set, NYXL all day.

I tried a set of NYXL's and could not tell any difference from the regular XL's that I've been using for over 30 years. At least not enough difference to justify the price difference.
