HAHA Math for Musicians, TonyM
POST number 50 from actual going to page 3, By math, I got post 51.
One option is to try a reverse polarity converter like this one from Truetone 1 Spot:Yes, so wouldn't it need a matching reverse polarity if Ray has one like it and his other pedals and power supply are the opposite?

Another option: Fulltone makes a dedicated positive center power supply...
Fulltone FPS-2 9V Pos-Center Power Supply
This looks like a cool gadget, made by 1 Spot, that measures and displays the current draw of a pedal(s):
mA meter – Truetone
We also don't if he's getting enough power to all the pedals, or the quality and performance of the power supplies themselves.Another option is Bro RVA has to get to the ROOT of the Squealin PIG. Or at least verify if in his daisy chain of events, does he have all the same polarity pedals and matching PS? Or is there an oddball or 2 with the opposite polarity mixed in and thus to me would seem to possibly act like my incident. Or are we still needing further research of the cause elsewhere?
I will do some testing tonight. I may also get that ma tester! We also don't if he's getting enough power to all the pedals, or the quality and performance of the power supplies themselves.

Chili, you arrived at #51 because you included post #113 in your math.
#113 was intended to refer to the posts before it and was not self inclusive.
My posts, my rules.
That mA tester can check cables, too!I will do some testing tonight. I may also get that ma tester!
Usually when you put in a power supply with the wrong polarity you fry the pedal. Happened to a doofus I know
Ha ha... It didn't spare Chili's chip...The diode takes the brunt when a wrong polarity supply is used, so sparing the circuit.
