OK, I got my translator out. Beginning to understand the principle behind the madness. You guys will have to forgive me for the path I took getting here, I was dealing with Medicare/Precription Drug plans hassles re: mom's needs in nursing home today, plus already taxing my brain tech wise, researching AV CAM/Audio recording gear on the cheap.

WOW, these digital things cost over 1200 lbs and I am sure they had additional costs that get added on to get more whiz bangs out of them.
Also, his first sound clips all sound processed to me. nothing sounds like a guitar in the 9 minutes+ areas.

The paradigm behind getting a sound with processors is definitely different from an amp and pedals. Even different processors vary in their approach.

I on the other hand am stuck in a quagmire of Legaleze, POA, HIPPAA, Medicare, FInancial accounts, 1099's, records filing, and HUGE NURSING HOME bills for my dear mom. So little rejuvenation possible from the all consuming rigors of managing mom's affairs. I cannot even set up drums, or my big amps and cabs and blast my frustrations away, due to Kathy needing her hearing, and the neighbors living too close to us.
Thankfully I can come on here and learn about new things like processed music equipment. OR amp building without good Transformer availability or Tube supply shortages and stuff like that.
When I get back from visiting mom, I will look more into the topic here. ( Homework)
Oh and ask, HEY, anyone have good and CHEAP Camera/Audio recording devices you'd recommend so I can tape myself practicing so I can get better?
I WAS looking at some ZOOM gear. Q2N 4k for example
