I work on guitars a lot and I know so many players who pick the wrong guitar for themselves and don't know it.

Just like everyone who picks vanilla and doesn't know that chocolate is ALWAYS better.

If I use my VPN and select another country for my IP my flag changes. It must be based on IP address.

I believe that the I.P. address sets the flag. I've never seen a flag on Dan's. Chris is showing a Spanish flag (?).

My location isn't fictitious. The witches were in Salem, and Salem is on the Atlantic coast.

If you go to your privacy settings, you can turn off your flag.

I know John. What I meant was that there is no way a computer could determine your location based on a description of where you live.
