Interesting thread... My experience with Gotoh products has been good.
I installed Gotoh locking tuners and Gotoh bridge on my Epiphone ES-339 P-90 pro
and they fit right on with no problems, and a huge improvement over the stock
Epiphone parts. I wanted BLACK, and I didn't want to spend huge money "upgrading"
my Epi guitar. So these parts seem like a no-brainer.
The Gotoh bridge had
a lot more travel for the saddles than did the Epiphone stock part.
And for this blonde guitar, I wanted black hardware. No problem. I bought my parts
from Philadelphia Luthier Tools and Supplies, which works well in USA. I'm using tens
on the ES-339, so I had no difficulty in intonation. But the Gotoh bridge seems like a much
more high quality product than the Epi stock hardware.
So... a fine upgrade for an Epiphone. And for MY Epiphone, I got black hardware on a
blonde guitar. So they look as great as t hey sound, and that's a winning combination for me.
